Many residents have begun receiving a notice in the mail from the City of Norcross about recent updates to city tax, rates and fees. Some questions have arisen about how to receive the senior exemption on sanitation rates. Senior exemptions are carried over to the city's tax rolls from the county digest. If you have been granted an exemption from Gwinnett County, you will receive one with the City of Norcross. The county's exemption application deadline is April 1st of each year.
